Thanks so much for visiting Jes Is A Mess!

My name is Jesica and I am a wife to a funny, sexy, genius of a man, mother to two beautiful children, and I am learning to love life and myself.  My husband and I manage an apartment complex and is easily the hardest thing we’ve ever done but it has allowed me to stay home with my babies and I am beyond grateful for that.

I love spending time with my family, be it just the four of us or our extended family and friends.  I LOVE my people and I don’t think life would be quiet as a great without any of them.

Things I enjoy – coffee, coffee, coffee.  Dark chocolate.  Creating things in the kitchen (especially in my mom’s kitchen because hers has much more room). Going to the beach.  Reading (though, it doesn’t happen as often as I would like).  Listening to every kind of music – just ask my husband how ridiculously expansive my music library is.  Learning to play piano.  Taking pictures of the people I love.

I love having conversations with people whether it be gut wrenching laughter conversations or deep, intense conversations about life, faith, love, and the mess in between it all.  I love to watch people come alive and to champion people as well.  That is the purpose of this blog.  To create community and  have conversations.
